Bespoke CPD courses for Scotland
Aspect Scotland has been in extensive discussions with Scottish authorities and organisations to ensure that it can deliver an effective CPD programme for Scotland's professionals based on a clear identification of Scottish needs. These discussions have currently culminated in highly effective courses on leadership and management being delivered for middle managers in secondary schools in a number of Scottish authorities.
The easiest way to illustrate how a new programme evolves is to outline one example, shown in the PDF linked to above, which Aspect provided for Glasgow.
Early discussions between lead associates of Aspect and senior staff at Glasgow determined the need of a middle management programme for secondary school staff. The outcome which emerged was the product of the assessment of the needs and an agreed programme to meet those needs.
