Aspect Scotland
Aspect – in consultation with its Scottish members and with the Association of Educational Development and Improvement Professionals in Scotland (AEDIPS) – has developed a set of standards for educational development and improvement professionals in Scotland.
Aspect's Scotland Council Member, Tommy Doherty, said "These standards are designed to reflect the current and changing roles and responsibilities of those working in educational development and improvement.
"The standards are supported by guidance notes. Six dimensions are identified which reflect the working practices of educational improvement professionals."
- Developing self and others
- Professional leadership to build capacity
- Accountability – evaluation practice
- Promoting learning and teaching
- Working with & developing organisations
- Developing and sustaining partnerships
