Professional conduct
Aspect is firmly committed to the furtherance of equal opportunities in the workplace.
The Association has also put together guidelines on professional conduct for professionals working in the field. A Set of Core Principles encourages educational improvement and children’s services professionals to:
- encourage success and enrichment for all learners
- exert professional leadership through vision, strategy and initiative
- advocate equality of opportunity in all respects
- recognise and build upon interdependence between individuals and within and between organisations
- demonstrate integrity and display sound personal behaviour, approaches and relationships
- value professional and systematic approaches to learning and promote self and organisational development.
